WHAT I LIKE ABOUT MY WORK

I believe personally in the RSWA mission of helping clients to both secure and enjoy wealth.  I grew up in Ohio in a family of primarily social workers, “helpers”, as I call them.  Then in my teens I met a wholesale broker and decided that was the job for me!  I would be a broker on Wall Street!  What I didn’t realize was that it wasn’t the job I so admired, it was the financial independence.  I got my degree in Business and Economics and spent 15 years working at large companies where I learned a lot but worked a lot too!  After having children, which gave me some time away from the hustle and bustle, I realized that beyond just having wealth, it is equally important to enjoy your blessings.  As I reentered the workforce, I realized that working with others on a personal level has great value to me.  That realization brought me to RSWA where I am happy to be a “helper” to RSWA employees and RSWA clients alike.

5 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME

1. I was a competitive Scottish Highland dancer throughout my teens and can still be seen in my kilt at the annual NH Scottish Games at Loon Mountain.
2. My favorite part of the day is coffee or cocktails on the front porch with my husband.
3. I am a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
4. I was raised in Ohio but I consider myself a New Englander at heart.
5. I believe Aristotle that "in all things of nature there is something of the marvelous".
