Service & Operations Manager
I come from a long line of social workers. There are five in my immediate family covering early intervention, families living with disabilities, the juvenile court system and adult mental health. So you can guess that when I was deciding what I wanted to be when I grew up, it was definitely not a social worker! I got my degree in Business and Economics and spent 15 years working at large companies. Then after having my own children and taking some time away from the hustle and bustle, I realized that what I missed about my family was that they were all helpers. They all chose to help in the community arena but I could now relate to the idea of helping others. Over the trajectory of my business career I ended up in operations and as a consultant. Looking back, I could see that I was a helper too but just in a different arena. So as Michael Corleone says in the Godfather; “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!” Realizing that I was a helper and that I liked being in business operations brought me to RSWA where I am happy to be a helper to RSWA employees and RSWA clients and I believe personally in the RSWA mission of helping clients to both secure and enjoy wealth.
